Summary of the webpage

I am a passionate and proactive engineer currently working as Postdoctoral Researcher at the Oslo Metropolitan University (OsloMet), in Oslo, Norway.

Before joint OsloMet, I worked for one and a half years as Lead Emdedded Software Engineer at Volvo GTT in Gothenburg, Sweden. I worked with software development for braking systems and stability control for trucks. I have also been involved with strategy development.

After this experience in the industries, I decided to join academia in order to follow one of my strongest passions, that is, research.

I hold a Ph.D. in Engineering Cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). My research interests concerned mainly the design, development and validation of new control strategies for non-holonomic mechanical systems. I mainly focused on unmanned vehicles and I used Nonlinear Control Theory tools to design new guidance and control strategies. I published and reviewed more than 20 papers in internationals journals and international conferences of the field.

In my current position as Postdoctoral Researcher, I am mainly focused on the following research areas:

  • Robotics;
  • Multi-vehicle systems control;
  • Control theory;
  • Nonlinear systems;
  • Autonomous vehicles.

I am passionate about research and innovation. I firmly believe in the motto “Hire for attitude, train for skills”. I strive everyday to follow this approach in my daily life and at work, and I believe that I have a strong inclination to learn. I offer my support as reviewer for international conferences and journals in the field of control theory and robotics. In particular, I review articles submitted to international conferences and journals assessing their technical and theoretical contribution to the field.
